Minister tells Swazis to join gambling and make money for the state

MBABANE - Eswatini Minister of Tourism wants more Swazis to join internet gambling so that the kingdom can generate more money.
According to Moses Vilakati, eSwatini Minister of Tourism and Evironmental Affairs, the Swazi Governmen now wants a law which allows internet gambling to generate more revenue for the state.
"Minister Moses Vilakati says a new law which promotes Internet gambling is needed very soon in order to get more revenue for the country," Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Services (EBIS) reported.
This came out yesterday in the evening news.
Online gambling can be defined as being involved in betting on casinos or sports over the internet.
It is also known as Internet Gambling or e-gambling.
Usually, credit cards are used to place the bet, and win or losses are enjoyed thereby.
Information obtained is that the tinkhundla Royal system which promotes massive corruption makes it difficult for foreign investors to work in Eswatini hence the economy is not growing.
